Targeted Patrols Addressing Community Concerns in Castlefield

Last night, PC Riaz and PC Tang carried out targeted foot patrols around the Castlefield Bowl following concerns raised by local residents regarding drug use and anti‑social behaviour in the area during the evenings.

Officers were visible throughout the night, speaking with members of the public and focusing on locations highlighted by the community. Several stop‑and‑searches were conducted as part of this proactive work. Two of these searches resulted in drugs being recovered, and both individuals were dealt with by way of Community Resolution.
